LUSTY CREST will premiere at @sxsw 2020!!!!! . I was lucky enough to be in a pilot called LUSTY CREST made by the inimitable @whereskati. Today I am goddamn delighted to share it'll premiere at sxsw. How to put this in words... I play the proprietor of a possibly supernatural love hotel where the charming and beautiful @iamericadasher comes to chart a new course for herself. It's the best fucking thing. I love it so much and am so proud to be a part of it.

Gotta do some setting up. @jimsantangeli did this video series a few years ago with #ucbtheatre #ucbcomedy where he recorded a joke video (along with announcing the date) every day for a year. He called it the "Jim-A-Day" calendar. For the final video of the year he did some bit, I don't remember, but the end of it was him singing Auld Lang Syne- improvising a verse at the end to personally wish people a happy new year. I was in the room watching him do this, just flailing around attempting to make up a song- something he is actually exceptionally good at- while pretending to play the piano to a pre-recorded track of auld Lang Syne. I mean, I don't know if I have ever laughed so hard in my life watching him try to pull this off. Nothing made sense. It was often offensive when he was trying to be sweet. It was so damn funny. Andy, the dp and editor, put this outtake reel together. If there was ever a video I watch to make myself laugh, it is this. Long one, and maybe it doesn't translate, but shit- it works for me. Nobody makes me laugh like this fucking guy. #getinagoodmood
