Nate Smith is an actor, writer and filmmaker based in LA.

Acting credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Adults,
Mixed-Ish, There's Johnny, Red Oaks, The Mick, Odd Mom Out, Inside Amy Schumer, Silicon Valley, Happy Endings, 30 Rock, Angel From Hell, Adam Ruins Everything, David Cross’ Hits and Max Landis’ Me Him Her. He's been in some pilots nobody ever saw like Black Jack for Comedy Central and Max for HBO and Lusty Crest for Adult Swim. He had lead roles in the independent features, Ready or Knot and Hello Lonesome.
He starred in IAMA Theater Company’s Arrowhead in LA
and off-Broadway in NYC with Rachel Dratch in Tail! Spin! He’s filmed lots and lots of commercials.

Nate has developed feature films, tv pilots and comic books with Warner Bros, Gilbert Films, Irony Point and All Things Comedy. Nate has been a regular improv and sketch performer at the UCB Theater since the 2000s.

Nate writes and directs ads, branded content, short films and sketch comedy. He co-hosts the podcast, What’s That From, a thoroughly un-researched history of comedy.

In addition to comedy, Nate has worked extensively in documentary films as an editor and producer.
